Versatile artist Chazzy is releasing his new song “Only You” feat—Ysoultruth on March 29th. Chazzy is skilled in beat-making, mixing, mastering, artwork, and production. This new song marks his first release since “Rainy Night,” released on November 30th last year, and his first new song since 2023.
“Only You” is a sweet R&B ballad about the tenderness of living with the loved one. Ysoultruth, a singer, beatmaker, songwriter, and multi-instrumentalist, is the featured guest on the song. Like Chazzy, Ysoultruth handles everything from mixing to mastering. The two artists met on social networking sites and became good friends.
The original rhythm of the song was created two years ago by beatmaker NGONG, based in Okinawa, who is known for his collaborations with Yo-Sea and GOODMOODGOKU. Chazzy was intrigued by this rhythm and decided to use it with his voice. He then invited Ysoultruth to join him in the recording process and reworked the lyrics of each part to create chemistry between their respective voices. Chazzy, who is very attached to his singing, considers the song “the first step in return to his roots.”
The final result is a work that excites Chazzy. Tokyo BLU Nation, which supports Chazzy, is assisting in producing tracks to help independent artists overcome their production issues.
