The ABEMA platform presents its new original drama, Keishichō Mayaku Torishimarikata MOGURA (Metropolitan Police Department Narcotics Division: MOGURA), a unique blend of hip-hop and police thriller. This project, conceived and produced by Osamu Suzuki before his retirement as a screenwriter, is inspired by a true story by rapper Kan a.k.a. GAMI, three years ago.

The drama tells the story of a police officer with a talent for rap who infiltrates a group of rappers to dismantle an illicit drug trafficking network. This series, mixing tension and urban culture, explores the world of hip-hop from a fresh perspective.
The soundtrack, “MOGURA – Hadashi no Mama de”
Alongside the series broadcast, ABEMA presents a new track performed by Hannya, G-k.i.d, and Jin Dogg. This song, directly inspired by the themes of the drama, is a powerful anthem full of emotion and depth. The track’s creation followed a collaborative process: G-k.i.d first created the hook, which was then passed to Hannya to give a decisive push to the production. Jin Dogg was invited to complete the song, sharing verses with G-k.i.d for a striking final result. The track is based on the instrumental beat of “Untitled“, produced by JIGG, Masa Kohama, and ELIONE also used as the opening theme for the series. With a poignant guitar riff, the three artists deliver gripping vocal performances that perfectly convey the emotions and tensions of the story.
