The Tokyo-based collective COOL KIDS NEVER SLEEP is releasing its third mixtape, “KIDS TAPE 3”, today, Wednesday, October 9. Before this release, the music videos for the popular tracks “ICONIC” and “FADED” helped set the stage and build fan anticipation.
This mixtape stands out for its collaboration with talented and diverse artists. It features LYNN, who leads the label and is responsible for the production and sound engineering on almost all tracks. Hezron, who gained attention from his appearance on “Rap Star” on ABEMA, is also part of this musical project. Additionally, Taeyoung, who collaborated on previous projects with the collective, brings his creative touch again.
Collie Wave, a rising rapper in the Korean hip-hop scene, and Lonestar Void, a close friend of the collective based in Los Angeles, enhance “KIDS TAPE 3’s” international dimension. This rich and varied project promises to captivate listeners with its ten tracks. In addition to the mixtape, the music video for the song “Hollywood” will premiere on October 11 at 8:00 PM, shortly after the official release. True to its title, the video will include scenes shot in Los Angeles, the city where production on the mixtape began in June.
