Discover all the rap album releases for February 2023. The albums are available for streaming and have been selected by Real Japanese Hip Hop editors.

For February 2023, we saw the release of four rap albums, each bringing its personal touch to this constantly evolving musical genre.

We begin with the new album from DJ RYOW titled “I HAVE A DREAM”, which has excited fans who have been eagerly anticipating this new release. The album has already conquered the Japanese charts, featuring numerous significant artists from the Japanese music scene and newcomers. The guests are JP THE WAVY, Jin Dogg, Anarchy, CERBER RUI, and Lunv Loyal.

Next, beatmaker and producer Evisbeats released his new album “THAT’S LIFE” on February 4, 2023. The soothing hip-hop instrumental productions and the excellent track “Shooting Bar” with rapper Dengaryu, with whom he has collaborated for many years, allowed the artist to meet the expectations of his fans.

Rapper GADORO also surprised his audience with his fifth project, “RESTART”, featuring 13 tracks. It showcases LIBRO, S-NA, PENTAAXX.B.F, Kiwi, and Hokuto productions. GADORO explores new themes and sounds in this album, demonstrating his versatility as an artist.

Finally, the album “Flash Back” by Tokyo Gal, in collaboration with DJ FRIP, is another project worth listening to. The young Tokyo native artist once again proves herself to be talented and versatile, capable of switching from hard-hitting rap in the track “ITSUWA” to a softer way like “SAY LESS” with Jasmine.
