J.Studio opens a new base in Yamaguchi
J.Studio is a label and recording studio founded by Kojoe. The label has helped launch the careers of many talented artists in Japan. Among its roster are MONJU in Tokyo, Tha Jointz in Osaka, and MuKuRo, LazyWii, DJ NAPPY BWOY, and POM in Okinawa. J.Studio Yamaguchi opened in 2025, and “MiBāba” is the first single released from this new base.
1Co.INR is a versatile producer and beatmaker who has worked with artists such as BUPPON, ZIN, NF Zessho, Ōhira Mizuki, and Ume. The album “uh huh” brings together the strengths of both Kojoe and 1Co.INR delivers 17 tracks featuring various styles of Japanese hip-hop.

The music video for “MiBāba” is an animated work created by PEILU Studio, which has previously produced videos for FKD and ZIN. The animation adds an artistic dimension to this deeply personal and emotional song. The album “uh huh” was released on July 7, 2025, the same day Kojoe became a father for the first time—an emotional coincidence that makes “MiBāba” even more meaningful. The song expresses Kojoe’s sincere feelings for his family.
