Brought into the spotlight by ABEMA’s RAPSTAR 2025, rapper ICHIRO releases a new single and music video on February 25, 2026.
ICHIRO made his mark on ABEMA “RAPSTAR 2025”, one of Japan’s most-watched rap shows, by advancing to the cypher round. The attention hasn’t faded since. With “突き動かした地球”, he solidifies his artistic identity — that of an artist who is not afraid to be different. On the musical side, the single is built around traditional Japanese instruments such as taiko drums and koto, fused with the structures of modern club music. The result is a powerful, physical dance track rooted in Japanese culture while speaking directly to contemporary dancefloors. The track was produced by MsDoe, a Tokyo-based producer and DJ.
The music video, directed by up-and-coming filmmaker Soichi Toyoda — known for his work on Lisa lil vinci’s “Memento Mori feat. Dr.ilda” and MMT’s “CONFUSE” — builds a visual world where present-day Tokyo collides with the aesthetics of the Edo period. The visuals feature ground-shaking effects that echo the track’s title, alongside a reimagined kimono style that brings the work’s philosophy to life on screen.
