Bushi, born on July 21, 1985, in Kagawa Prefecture on Shikoku Island, has just released his new single titled “TSUBAME” on June 8. This track appears just a few months after the release of his album TOKI, which came out in 2024.

BUSHI’s career began in 2003 when he was only 17 years old. His first steps on stage took place at Club Axis in Marugame, in his native Kagawa region, an iconic venue that marked the beginning of his artistic journey. Since his debut, Bushi has built an impressive discography with four studio albums: “Meian” (2013), “Kaze” (2014), “Shikkoku no Hana” (2017), and “Yūbō to Zetsubō no Hate ni” (2020). His fifth album, “TOKI“, was released in August 2024, accompanied by a national tour that took him to 25 Japanese prefectures.

The rapper stands out through his unique style and collaborations with recognized artists from the Japanese hip-hop scene. He has notably worked with renowned producers and participated in several featured projects with names like RYKEY. This new single, “TSUBAME“, is part of the preparation for his sixth album, scheduled for release in October 2025, confirming the artist’s constant productivity and evolution as he continues to leave his distinctive mark on the Japanese rap scene.
