Jambo Lacquer and DUSTY HUSKY released their new single, “BIRD MAN” (バード・マン ), on Friday, April 12. DUSTY HUSKY and Jambo Lacquer are no strangers to the J-RAP scene; their previous works, such as “MIZUWARI” (バード・マン ) and “Role Plain“, have already established a precedent for success. This single continues this collaboration by incorporating elements from famous songs recognized worldwide while adding a personal touch with distinctive lyrics.

The single stands out for its captivating rhythm and innovative use of samples that will particularly delight Japanese vinyl aficionados. The creative process behind this track includes a refined mix of sound sources, notably the remarkable BomJa Break. In addition to its sound qualities, “BIRD MAN” (バード・マン ) also comes with a music video. Filmed in various exotic locations such as Okinawa, Hokkaido/Asahikawa, Itami in Japan, and even in Taiwan, the video provides a subjective and captivating overview of travels around the world, enriched by the presence of local friends.

The “BIRD MAN” (バード・マン ) single is not limited to its digital version; it will also be available in a limited edition 7-inch vinyl. This will be on sale in advance at the “DLiP Presents… BLAQLIST” event, which will be held tomorrow, April 13, at Bridge Yokohama in Kanagawa. After this date, the vinyl will be available exclusively through the DLiP RECORDS online store, WARAJI STORE, and other selected outlets.
