Japanese rapper NORIKIYO has just released his eleventh original album titled “Cookin’ Selfish” marking a new chapter in his artistic career. This work follows his tenth album, “Crime Statement,” which was released three days after his imprisonment on June 20, 2023, creating a striking narrative continuity in his musical journey.
The album, entirely produced by BACHLOGIC, who had previously collaborated with the artist on his past projects, offers a rich and varied musical experience. The digital and subscription versions feature 19 tracks, while the first-press CD edition includes an exclusive bonus track, “Distance,” bringing the total to 20 songs. This additional track also serves as a special reward for participants in the crowdfunding campaign, which runs until June 23.
To accompany this release, NORIKIYO unveiled today the music video for “Hey Omachi!“, one of the album’s standout tracks. This release coincides with the opening of pre-orders for ZAK AI.JP, the artist’s official online store, which now offers the 2LP and T-shirts for “OUTLET BLUES,” his second album from 2008 – his first full collaboration with BACHLOGIC. This limited reissue promises to be an essential collectible item for longtime fans.
