"MONIBUM2" by MonyHorse: The Event Cassette Album

MonyHorse, a member of the “YENTOWN” collective, is about to release his new album, “MONIBUM2“, in an exclusive cassette format. This highly anticipated project, which marks his return after a two-year absence from recording, will be available on Monday, April 14, 2025, at noon, both in-store and on Manhattan Records’ online shop.

“MONIBUM2”, Artistic Direction by VERDY

One of the distinctive features of “MONIBUM2” is the participation of famous designer VERDY as artistic director. This major collaboration has created a coherent visual identity for the entire project: album cover, promotional flyers, and even the entire range of associated merchandise. MonyHorse, who hails from Tokyo’s Kita district, has assembled an impressive cast of artists to enrich this new opus. The album features collaborations with ¥ellow Bucks, WILYWNKA, LEX, Benjazzy, NENE, Lil Ash 懺悔 (Zange), and 柊人 (Hiirihito). On the production side, YENTOWN’s U-Lee and the talented JJJ have brought their unique touch to the album’s instrumentals.

A National Tour and an Exceptional Concert

MonyHorse has planned a club tour to cross seven Japanese cities between March and April to celebrate this release. The highlight of this concert series will be an exclusive show at Zepp DiverCity TOKYO on May 10.
