J.Studio celebrates its tenth anniversary with the release of an ambitious new album by Kojoe and Blooky Jeeky, accompanied by a double music video for “One Love / Power”.
Marking its tenth anniversary, J.Studio – the label and studio network founded by Kojoe – strikes hard with SOUTH PARK Farm East Development, the result of a collaboration between the Tokyo-based rapper and Fukui-based beatmaker Blooky Jeeky. This release comes during a pivotal year for the collective, which has already made its mark in 2026 with the digital reissue of Ery Day Flo (a collaboration with Papua New Guinean jazz pianist Aaron Choulai, originally released as a limited CD in 2017) and the launch of “Kojoe Tuesday“, a weekly series of unreleased tracks and rarities available exclusively on Bandcamp.
Since its inception, J.Studio has established itself as a major incubator of Japanese hip-hop through its network of recording studios strategically located across the archipelago. The Tokyo branch has seen the emergence of MONJU, the Osaka division has revealed Tha Jointz, while the Okinawa outpost has propelled MuKuRo, LazyWii, DJ NAPPY BWOY, POM, and The Priceless. In Yamaguchi, the label has also supported BUPPON and 1Co.INR, confirming its ability to unite talent throughout the country.
An Album Entirely Produced by Blooky Jeeky
SOUTH PARK Farm East Development marks the reunion between Kojoe and Blooky Jeeky, the producer already behind the projects Black Starburst and Known Unknowns on J.Studio. This time, the Fukui-based beatmaker handles the entire production, crafting sixteen tracks imbued with an authentic, uncompromising hip-hop aesthetic.
The album features choice collaborations with CHOUJI, MuKuRo, STICKY BUDS, and 5lack, and builds on three previously released singles: “ROLLIN”, “AGENA AGAIN (feat. STICKY BUDS)”, and “Certified feat. 5lack“. To crown this release, a double music video for “One Love” and “Power” was released simultaneously.
