HIYADAM has released the music video for “Small World feat. Elle Teresa” from his 2nd album “Capture Land”, showcasing his innovative approach to genre-blending music. The track represents a prime example of “NEW HIPHOUSE“, a new genre developed collaboratively by HIYADAM and producer Yohji Igarashi. This cutting-edge sound fusion combines elements of techno, house, and hip-hop to create something entirely fresh. The song features HIYADAM’s elegant lyrics, which sharply capture contemporary sensibilities, along with his fluid flow style, complemented by Elle Teresa’s nostalgic yet futuristic vocals, that together create an incredible, modern sonic landscape.
The music video was directed by Ryoji Kamiyama, who has created numerous acclaimed works, including 3House’s “Dejavu feat. Yo-Sea” and Yo-Sea’s “Moonlight“. Kamiyama’s aesthetic vision captures the “Small World” concept that exists in the gaps between reality and imagination. The video transforms the song’s worldview into edgy visuals, featuring static and dynamic textures that sway fantastically while wrapped in vivid, urban impact.
