Rice water groove and Vue du monde are releasing their first collaboration single “dreamaze” on August 20, 2025 (Wednesday). The track, produced by acclaimed beatmaker TBS’93, blends crystal-clear steel pan melodies with a Caribbean-inspired hip hop groove — creating one of the most anticipated Japanese rap songs of 2025. About Vue du monde
Vue du monde is a 2-MC rap duo whose creative core lies in reinterpreting the sounds of the ’90s and 2000s. Formed in 2016 with the mission of advancing traditional Kung Fu chaos culture and producing quality music, their eclectic sonic output spans hip hop, Latin, funk, AOR, and more. They lead the independent label Doggy G Central Records, a collective of over a dozen creators handling everything in-house — from production, recording, and video, to artwork and apparel — making them a truly self-sufficient creative force in the Japanese hip hop scene.
In June 2025, Vue du monde dropped their second collaborative album with IKE, titled Deal’n Galactica, marking their first release in six years. The release party, held at WALL&WALL in Omotesando, was a massive success with advance tickets completely sold out. Continuing their busy schedule, in the summer of 2025 they also teamed up with ZEN-LA-ROCK for a series of joint releases, including a confirmed 7-inch vinyl drop — further showcasing their diverse and ever-expanding artistic pursuits.
