Kvi Baba had announced a significant concert in his career. He will perform on August 19, 2026, at Osaka-jo Hall, in his hometown of Osaka, and on August 26, 2026, in Yokohama Arena. This highly anticipated homecoming show marks a significant milestone for the artist.
Originally, Kvi Baba was scheduled to hold a free live concert in Tokyo’s Shinjuku area on December 22. However, around 10,000 people gathered at the venue, far exceeding its capacity. For safety reasons, the event was canceled at the last minute. Following this, the free concert planned in Shinsaibashi (Osaka) on December 24 was also canceled to ensure the safety of attendees and nearby residents. Kvi Baba later went live on Instagram to explain the situation. He thanked his fans, apologized, and shared important announcements that were initially meant to be revealed during the free shows.
Tickets for the Osaka-jo Hall concert will be available through pre-sale starting December 27 at 12:00 PM. At the same time, a limited number of additional tickets will be released for the already sold-out August 27, 2026, concert at Yokohama Arena, following the opening of technical seats. Fans who were in the priority viewing area at the canceled Tokyo free show will be able to choose from several compensation options.
Kvi Baba also announced the release of a new single on January 1, 2026, marking his second consecutive New Year’s Day release. Following City Love City Love City Love, he will release “Stay With Me,” produced by BACHLOGIC. Finally, Kvi Baba will make his first appearance on the television program CDTV Live! Live! New Year’s Countdown on December 31, where he will perform the new song. This performance is highly anticipated and will close out the year.
