Hannya makes his big comeback with the announcement of his 15th studio album “Last Answer” (ラストアンサー), his first project in two years. The album will be available for streaming from July 30, 2025, followed by a physical release on August 27, 2025, with exclusive bonus tracks.
Since his previous album “Shin Ohayo Nippon”, Hannya has continued to make his mark on the Japanese hip-hop scene with several significant accomplishments: his victory at “BATTLE SUMMIT II“, his exceptional concert “Hannya 20th LIVE at TOKYO DOME CITY HALL“, and, more recently, his leading role in the original ABEMA drama “MOGURA” released at the beginning of the year. The music video for the track “やってもねえのに” (Yatte mo Nee no ni) will premiere worldwide on YouTube on July 30 at 9:00 PM. This track with 90s hip-hop sounds promises to recall the roots of the genre while bringing Hannya’s characteristic modern touch.
“Last Answer” is a rich and varied album
“Last Answer” consists of 11 main tracks, with a bonus track “成功” (Seiko) available only on the CD version. The album explores different facets of the artist, from energetic tracks to collaborations with artists like Red Eye on “Once Again” and SKRYU on “わっしょい” (Wasshoi). Among the flagship titles, we also find “konnichiwa” whose music video, directed by Kim Yoon-soo and featuring dancer/model Horikoshi Sakurako, is already available, as well as “地元の唄” (Jimoto no Uta), a tribute to his native neighborhood of Sangenjaya.
