The Japanese finalists for the Technics DMC World DJ Championship 2025 have been officially announced, marking a historic milestone for this legendary competition. For the first time since its founding in 1985, the World Final will take place in Tokyo, on October 11 and 12, 2025, across two iconic Shibuya venues: O-East and Harlem. Celebrating the 40th anniversary of DMC, this edition promises to be a landmark event for global DJ culture.
This year’s championship attracted several entrants from 16 countries, following highly competitive regional and national qualifiers. The finalists represent the absolute elite of global turntablism — an art form that combines technical mastery, musical creativity, and live performance.
Japan will be proudly represented in three major categories:
DMC Classic
- DJ Fummy, a former world finalist and respected figure in Japan’s DJ scene, makes his highly anticipated return.
