The Japanese duo will release an exclusive mix CD on March 12, 2026 — the result of a 47-prefecture tour completed in 70 days by campervan.
DUSTY HUSKY and DJ BUNTA have achieved the unthinkable. In just 70 days, the two artists traveled across all 47 prefectures of Japan by campervan, performing live sets and DJ shows from one end of the country to the other. Nothing like this had ever been attempted in Japanese hip-hop — or in any other music scene in the country. That extraordinary journey has now taken shape as a tangible work: “47 CAMPiN’ DIGGiN”, a mix CD releasing on March 12, 2026, in record stores across Japan via DLiP Records.
Title: 47 CAMPiN’ DIGGiN / Artist: DJ BUNTA, DUSTY HUSKY / Format: CD / Label: DLiP RECORDS / Release Date: Available from Thursday, 12 March 2026 / Pre-Release Date: Saturday, 28 February 2026 / Available at: DLiP WebShop: https://dlipwebshop.com
47 Vinyls, 47 Prefectures, One Mix
Throughout their trip, the duo visited nearly 100 record shops across Japan. From the hundreds of vinyls dug out of local crates, DUSTY HUSKY and DJ BUNTA handpicked exactly 47, one per prefecture, spanning all genres. Those 47 records were then reconstructed in the duo’s signature back-to-back mix format, shaped into a cohesive body of work rooted in hip-hop. Members of the D.L.i.P. collective and GEMs met along the way and appear throughout the mix in shoutouts, locking the raw energy of the tour into every track. The physical CD is designed as a true collector’s item. The sleeve unfolds into a 6-page booklet featuring the jacket artwork for all 47 vinyl records used in the mix — a direct invitation for listeners to embark on their own record-hunting journey.
Before the official release, a new episode of the “CAMPiN’ HOTTS RADIO” video series went live on February 27, 2026. Filmed at OPPA-LA in Enoshima, the final stop of the tour, it features a laid-back conversation between the two artists, a back-to-back mix show, and a surprise freestyle appearance by WORD UP.
